We had the opportunity to visit the Great Platte River Road Archway in Kearney. We were able to go through the entire arch and listen to historic facts along the way. The students were excited to see the large exhibits and loved the technology that was used to make this a learning experience. After watching two reenactments, we were able to rest and eat lunch in the Archway cafeteria.
Our next stop was Kearney's Big Apple Fun Center. The kids learned the mechanics of bowling and were able to participate in two games before the afternoon came to an end.
It was definitely and enjoyable day out for everyone involved. Thanks Mr. Rohde for making all of the arrangements!
